It can also provide its services to countries outside the EU, granted that they meet the regulatory requirements of the country, such as China, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and United Arab Emirates. US citizens or residents, as expected, are barred from using their services.
In addition to that, the broker offers its services in a total of six languages, namely English, Arabic, French, Italian, Dutch, and Spanish.
Available Assets
Customers of Alvexo have access to 450+ financial instruments, which include forex CFDs, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, shares, and bonds. Let’s take a closer look at all of them in this section of the review.
Cryptocurrencies
Although their rise to popularity is largely recent compared to other financial instruments, cryptocurrencies have presented themselves as the best opportunity for traders to diversify their portfolios adequately. In response, Alvexo has allowed its clients to hop on the bandwagon by making available to them 20+ cryptocurrencies such as ADA/USD, ATOM/USD, BTC/EUR, and LTC/USD to name a few.
Shares
Alvexo offers 340+ shares to its clients, of which 150+ are US stocks, 80+ German, 15+ UK, 50+ France, 5+ Belgium, 8+ UAE, and a small portion of them belong to the following countries: Saudi Arabia, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland.
Some notable examples are American Airlines Group, Associated British Foods, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC, and Barclays.
Commodities
An Alvexo account holder instantly gains access to a suite of hard and soft commodities. These commodities have their roots in the energy, agriculture, and metal sectors. The 12+ commodities on their platform are inclusive of coffee, sugar, palladium, copper, and the most popular of them all: oil & gold.
Indices
Indices measure the price performance of a bundle of shares from a particular exchange. If you trade indices, you are able to give yourself exposure to the entire sector or even the economy – all the while only having to open one sole position.
Alvexo offers 14+ indices in a range of markets, including AUS200, EU50, FR40, and GER40 among many other top-performing indices of US, Europe, and World origin.
Forex
Considering the forex market is one of the largest financial markets in the world, Alvexo has decided to provide its customers the option to buy or sell an impressive 55+ currency pairs on their trading platform. You have both minor pairs like the Euro vs Japanese Yen (EUR/JPY) and also major ones such as the USD/CAD, AUD/USD, and NZD/USD to choose from.
Bonds
Alvexo offers a limited number of bonds that do not allow clients to choose freely. Only 1+ bonds are currently available on their platform to trade and they go by the names: Bond_Euro, and Bond_US10Y.
Spread
In trading, a spread is the difference between the quoted buy (ask) and sell (bid) prices for a particular asset. Depending solely on the type of account you hold, your spread rates will vary drastically. For example, for the same instrument such as American Airlines Group stocks – your spread can be from 0.6, 0.35, or even 0.1 pips depending on whether you are a Classic, Gold, Prime, or Elite client.
Leverage
According to the company’s leverage policy, all clients classified as retail clients will only be allowed to trade with a leverage of up to 1:30 (exceptions may be made if a country’s local regulation dictates a different maximum leverage policy).
However, those clients that come under the category of professional clients, are permitted to trade with much higher leverages of up to 1:100, 1:200, and 1:300. This is ultimately determined by the Client’s Appropriateness test score and other factors such as a region’s laws and regulations.
It is worth bearing in mind that professional clients hailing from Malta and Poland, due to regulatory restrictions, can only trade with a maximum of 1:100 leverage.
The table below shows the minimum spreads on a classic account and the maximum leverage for retail clients on forex pairs and commodities.

Fees & Commissions
All brokers charge their customers both trading and/or non-trading fees, and Alvexo is no different. This review will inform you of all the costs associated with opening an account and trading with Alvexo.
Trading Fees
Spreads
As mentioned earlier in the previous section of this review, the type of account you hold is the main factor that determines how high your spread rates will be. It has been observed that Prime and Elite account holders incur the lowest spread charges, whereas the spreads for a Classic account holder are the greatest. If we take a look at the AUD/NZD currency pair, the spread is from 14.9 pips on a Classic account, but that figure is slashed to 6.4 pips on an Elite account.
Commission
Here at Alvexo, no commission is charged regardless of whether you are a Classic, Gold, Prime, or even Elite account holder.
Non-Trading Fees
Non-trading fees also present a cost to clients, therefore, it is important that they are as low as possible. Alvexo does not charge any download fees, or deposit and withdrawal fees but it does charge swap, inactivity, and transaction fees.
Rollover Rate/Swap Fees
You will be charged swap fees on every position left open overnight for every business day that it remains open. Please note that on all forex instruments, a 3-day swap will be charged every Wednesday to account for the weekend. The same goes for indices, however, the 3-day swap is instead charged on Fridays.
Swap fees vary on every financial instrument provided by the broker.
Inactivity fee
Given that the client remains inactive for a period exceeding 3 months, they can expect to incur a monthly maintenance fee. Based on their “Free Margin”, this fee will be charged on a regular basis (i.e. daily).
Transaction fees
For certain payments, a minute transaction fee may be incurred. Alvexo reserves the right to charge its client’s such fees if they deem it necessary, provided that the client has made a deposit or withdrawal without engaging in any trading activity with the broker first.
Trading Platforms
The broker ensures customers have the maximum possible satisfaction with its desktop and mobile trading platform. Their innovative design and user-friendly interface among many other things make trading hassle-free.
Desktop Trading Platform
Alvexo chose to make their trading platform a web-based one to eradicate the unnecessary extra step of having to download the platform onto your personal computer. This platform is available across multiple devices as all you need is the URL and a supported web browser. Its built-in tools make for a faster and clearer trading experience. Let’s explore some of them in this section of the review.
Order Management Tools
Having an effective way to manage your orders by being able to review all open positions and cancel any pending orders instantly has been prioritized by the brokerage firm when designing their web-based trading platform – thoroughly understanding the importance of such a crucial part of trading.
Real-Time Alerts
As a trader, you never want to miss out on a trade that could potentially up your game. Alvexo web-trader makes sure that you receive all relevant alerts in real time and even lets you execute orders instantaneously based on them.
Lightning-Fast Execution
Alvexo has incorporated this feature into its powerful web-based trading platform, to make sure that orders are placed almost immediately.
How to Open a Live Account with Alvexo Desktop Trading Platform?
Enter your full name and an existing email address. Then create a new password and tick the box below it, once you’ve read their privacy policy. Finally, click on the blue “Continue” button. Alternatively, you can also create an account with your present Google/Facebook/Apple account.
Choose the type of account you want, either demo or real, and then enter a valid phone number.
You will then be redirected to the home page of their trading platform. Click on “Funds” on the dashboard to your left. You will be asked to verify your account by entering your address details. Follow it up by ticking the box below, after you’ve read their terms and conditions.
Verify your identity by means of your passport or an identity card.
Once your account is verified, you can begin trading and depositing funds into your account.
Mobile Trading App
Aware of the reality that some traders might find it more convenient to trade on an app instead of a web-based trading platform, Alvexo has developed its very own mobile-based trading platform too. The app is equipped with the latest features and can be downloaded on both Android and Apple devices. Here are the features of the mobile trading app.
A Large Suite of Assets
The mobile app grants access to the 450+ financial instruments offered by Alvexo and allow you to use the app’s intuitive interface to trade CFDs on forex pairs, shares, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies
Personal Favorite Assets List
Clicking on the star next to your preferred choice of asset enables you to create a handy list for quick viewing of your favorite assets.
Fast Access to Asset Data
The app grants you access to powerful charts and data on all assets so that you’re fully aware of the current market trends.
How to Open a Live Account with Alvexo’s Mobile Trading App?
Click on “Create Account”
Enter your full name and email address. Create a new password, following their strong password guidelines.
Choose between a real and live account, and enter your phone number details.
Click on “Proceed” to complete your registration process.
You will then be asked about your nationality, tax residency, place of birth, passport number and address. After that there will be a series of questions, enquiring about your source of funds, go-to deposit payment method etcetera.
The last part of the registration process will be a quiz, and they will ask you some questions related to trading to check if you have the knowledge needed to be eligible to trade with them. You will only be allowed to trade with them, if you answer most of their questions correctly.
Account Types
There are 6 types of accounts offered by Alvexo that we will be discussing in this review: Demo, Classic, Gold, Prime, Elite, and Islamic.
Demo Account
A demo account enables beginners to learn about the broker’s platform and the different financial instruments offered in a risk-free environment. All demo account holders registered with Alvexo are given $50,000 in virtual funds to begin navigating the web/mobile platform. The demo account features the different financial instruments available to a person with a live account, so that users can easily test out their trading strategies with actual assets.
Moreover, because the platform allows you to test out new strategies taking into account all possible costs, experienced traders may find this type of account just as helpful if not more.
Classic Account
This is the default account for all retail clients, with a minimum account size of 500 €. Its minimum spreads are the highest of all the different accounts, from 2.9 pips on EUR/USD. If you’re a classic account holder, your minimum deal size is 0.01 lots, which allows you to carry out small trades with your limited budget. You are allowed to buy and sell forex pairs, cryptocurrencies, and indices only, unfortunately.
Gold Account
As per their website, this is the most popular account. One of the requirements to attain this title is that your minimum account size has to be 10,000 €. The benefits of having such an account is that your minimum spread rate is from 2.2 pips, and you get to have three one-on-one support sessions with their team every month. The minimum deal size however is now 0.05 lots and you can still only trade currencies, cryptocurrencies, and indices.
Prime Account
The minimum account size in this case is 50,000 €. With a Prime Account title, it is possible for you to benefit from even lower spread rates – which are now from 1.8 pips. Also, you now get to trade bonds and stocks as well. Finally, the number of support lessons per month offered to Prime Account holders is 5. Do note that the minimum deal size is now 0.1 lots.
Elite Account
The minimum account size, in this case, has not been specified, but we can safely assume that it will be far greater than the Prime Account one. With an Elite Account, you enjoy spreads from 0.1 pips and can trade European, US, and Cannabis stocks – as well as bonds. Additionally, you get to enjoy an unlimited number of support sessions. However, your minimum deal size will now be increased to 0.25 lots.
Islamic Account (Swap-free)
For its Muslim traders, Alvexo offers an Islamic account so that they can trade without having to receive or pay daily swap fees. All Islamic account holders are obliged to close any open CFD position within 45 calendar days of opening it. If you fail to do so, the firm reserves the right to terminate your swap-free privileges as this is a clear abuse of the agreement.
Payment Methods
Clients should be able to deposit/withdraw via a payment method that they are mostly comfortable with. Having a wide range of supported payment methods ensures that a maximum possible number of customers are satisfied with the broker. Let’s take a closer look at the different deposit and withdrawal methods Alvexo allows its clients to use in this section of the review.
Deposit Methods
Funds can be deposited into your Alvexo account via three main methods. You can deposit via either debit card, credit card, wire transfer, or e-wallet (such as Google pay and Skrill). The time taken for your account to be credited varies depending on the type of payment method you choose. For example, wire transfers may take longer while deposits made via credit card may be made almost instantly. The minimum deposit amount is 250 €.
Deposit Methods
Transaction times
Bank transfer
3 – 5 business days
Credit cards and Debit cards

Google/Apple pay

Withdrawal Methods
A client reserves the right to withdraw their funds at any time they deem necessary. Alvexo will process your withdrawal request within 24 hours, regardless of the payment method. However, it can take 3 to 5 days for you to receive your funds. It is worth bearing in mind that depending on the payment method that the withdrawal request will be carried out in, the minimum withdrawal amounts may vary. They lie between 5 € and 100 €.
Alvexo does not charge its clients any withdrawal fees.
How to withdraw Funds?
First, click on the side menu on your trading platform home screen.
Then click on “Funds” and select the “Withdrawal” option.
Please specify the exact amount you would like to withdraw.
Enter your payment details (like your credit card number)
Do not close your tab until you see a pop-up notification notifying you that your withdrawal request is being processed.
Education
The educational resources offered by the broker are plentiful, the only catch is that it comes at a cost. In order to access these wonderfully comprehensive eBooks and webinars, you must have an Alvexo Plus membership.
If books aren’t your thing, the broker has an academy that covers both beginner-level and advanced topics related to trading. These articles are concise and cover the topic well. Moreover, video tutorials are also available if reading isn’t for you.
Fortunately, they do run a blog that talks about the latest market events and best of all it is completely free.
Customer Support
Essentially, you have three primary ways of contacting Alvexo. The first way is to simply fill out a form (available on their “Contact Us” page) and enter details like your phone number, email address, the subject of the message, and lastly the message itself.
The next way is to call them on one of their many toll-free landlines. The firm does not have a physical presence in most of the following regions, but you can still call them using the numbers provided in this review.
Finally, you can also use their live chat function to resolve any issues or get answers to any inquiries you may have had about your account on the platform. Remember, the broker also gladly welcomes any suggestions and constructive criticism that can help improve client satisfaction, sent to them through these channels.
Very few Reddit users held conversations about the broker, much less shared their negative or positive experiences with it. However, there was one user who had a lot of positive things to say about his/her time trading with Alvexo.
This particular Reddit user loved that their platforms were “user-friendly” and “easy to navigate”. He also mentioned how good and helpful their charts and trading academy were before finally concluding saying, “they seem to be a good trading broker.”
What Quora Users Say About Alvexo
Again, just like Reddit users, Quora users too did not hold many discussions about the broker. With that being said, one Quora user, who also claims to be an experienced trader, did find the brokerage firm to have a lot of good things about it.
Pheobe Duffy, explained that she’d deposited 10,000 USD into her Alvexo account. Her experience had been pleasant as she received her withdrawals on time, and also expressed great approval of their customer service team referring to them as “good”. The main point that she stressed, however, was that they were like any other good broker and weren’t anything exceptional, in her opinion.
TrustPilot Users Reviews About Alvexo
Alvexo has a 3.2-star rating on TrustPilot, making it an average broker. Around 70% of reviews were positive while a smaller 25% of them were negative.
Kayden Brooks from Great Britain gave the broker a 5-star rating. She highlighted that their “investment tips” and “educational materials” were their main selling points. The only downside of trading with them, she felt, was that withdrawals took “3 to 5 days” to be successfully processed – which in her opinion was longer than necessary.
A lot of users expressed their disapproval of the way their customer service team called them on a daily basis, pushing them to deposit $500 or more into their accounts. Eloades1, on TrustPilot, expresses the same opinion as the others and warns other potential clients to “avoid Alvexo at all costs” because according to them it is a “scam.”
ForexPeaceArmy Users Reviews About Alvexo
On ForexPeaceArmy, Alvexo only has a 2.7-star rating. The users on this platform held both negative and positive opinions on the broker.
Alain Baradhi, from the United Arab Emirates, spells out in all caps “DO NOT TRUST” Alvexo because he claims that the company is a scam and “fake”. He highlighted that their marketing team was poorly trained and offered bad advice which made traders lose their money. Furthermore, he informs others that he’s been trading professionally since 2015, and never in his life had had an experience quite as bad as this one.
William Green from the UK, presents the broker as an “affordable” and good broker. According to him, the best thing about them is the high leverage of “300:1” they offer, but other things like Alvexo Plus and fast withdrawal processing speeds gave him even more reasons to keep on trading with them.
Is Alvexo safe?
A broker might have the best assets and trading/non-trading fees, but that doesn’t amount to anything if clients feel like their funds are at risk of being stolen. This makes the answer to the questions, “Is Alvexo safe?” and “Is Alvexo trustworthy” very significant. According to us, Alvexo indeed is a safe brokerage firm.
The greatest marker of its safe reputation is the fact that its trading activities are regulated by competent regulatory authorities, like CySEC and FSA. Being regulated and registered with a law-abiding authority means that the broker will most definitely strictly adhere to the laws and regulations put forth by the concerned body. Ultimately, minimizing the risk of client exploitation.
Furthermore, client funds are all held in segregated bank accounts that can only be used for client funding purposes. This implies that the company under no circumstances can use client money to meet its obligations, like paying back creditors in the unlikely event of default or bankruptcy of the firm.
Alvexo also uses the strictest safety protocols to protect clients. Transactions and trades are protected with 256-bit RapidSSL encryption and firewalls are set up.
In addition, as per company policy, all clients regardless of the type of account they possess are entitled to receive negative balance protection, signifying that they will never lose more than what they have in their accounts.
Other Products and Services
The broker, at the time of writing, does not have an affiliate program. However, they do host many events for their clients to interact with their account managers and learn more about the trading world.
Events
Alvexo holds all kinds of events, seminars, and conferences in Europe and the rest of the world too. These meetings serve to establish a closer bond between clients and their team, while also providing insights from leading professionals in the field. Participants and speakers get the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn about different trading strategies.
Bottom Line
Alvexo proudly hosts over 370,000 members on its many platforms and is regulated & authorized by competent regulatory authorities like the FSA and CySEC, ensuring that its financial services are legalized. The different languages offered on its platform really do simplify trading for its clients that originate from 40+ countries.
Additionally, to bestow upon its clients the ability to diversify their portfolios as much as possible, it has made available 450+ financial instruments on its platforms. These include currency pairs, shares, cryptocurrencies, commodities, indices, and last but not least, bonds. Alvexo allows clients to trade CFDs in these assets, allowing them to place orders for trades they may not have sufficient capital for. Most users would agree that their high maximum leverage gives them the freedom to trade larger quantities of goods for a fraction of the price.
Seeking to tend to the needs of its clients with varying backgrounds in trading, the online brokerage firm offers many different types of accounts. With Alvexo, you can open a demo, classic, gold, prime, and elite, or even an Islamic (swap-free) account if you wish to abide by the Sharia. These account types are very different in nature, highlighted by the great variance they show in their minimum deal sizes, types of assets available, number of support sessions per month, Alvexo Plus membership duration, etcetera.
Alvexo’s mobile app and web-based trading platform were designed keeping in mind the users’ needs and are incredibly easy to navigate and use. Moreover, their customer service team can be contacted via email, phone, and even their live chat function.
